USET Finals

Some shots from the USET 2008 Show Jumping Talent Search finals in Gladstone, NJ.  The event took place at the historic Hamilton Farm, home of the USET Foundation.  The Foundation is solely supported by individual contributions and receives no government subsidies.  The high performance programs train and support our top athletes and horses to compete in the Olympics, Pan Am Games, World Championships and other international programs.  The competitors for the Talent Search are 21 and under and have competed during the year to accumulate enough points to be qualified for this Final.  This year’s winner was Sophie Benjamin, a freshman at Princeton University.  She rides under Stacia Madden at Beacon Hill Show Stables, Colts Neck, NJ.

This was an incredible two days for the Beacon Hill girls, they were invited to practice at Beezie & John Madden’s farm in beautiful Cazenovia NY. The views were breathtaking and the girls and horses had a wonderful time navigating all the banks, water jumps and hedges. Thank you John & Beezie for giving the girls this experience. Also thanks to Stacia and Max for arranging this special outing
